And AD isn’t constantly injured? I’ll bet you they won’t make the finalsDisagree. Mavs won this trade. AD is actually a two-way player. Plus he's a better fit with Kyrie. Luka is a ball dominant no defense playing guard. The white James Harden. I don't think you're winning championships with him as your leader. He's also out of shape and constantly injured.
Mavs are now a legit championship contender with AD and Kyrie.
AD is not a top 5 player rn. Top 3 big man yes. Overall no. He’s only played 60+ games twice in 6 years lolThey just landed the best two way big in the league alongside Giannis and Wembanyama. Add to that Kyrie and their decent supporting cast of role players and they are definitely a championship contender. I could easily see them coming out of the West.
Don't let the LeBron media propaganda fool you. AD has been a top 5 player in this league for close to a decade and was the major reason the Lakers won the title in 2020. Him and Kyrie fit like a glove and instantly become one of the best duos in the NBA.
I don't think Luka's a great piece to build around long term. He's poorly conditioned and plays zero defense. He's nothing more than a stat padder. I'd rather build around someone like Anthony Edwards if I were the Lakers. Luka is better than nothing but I don't think he's leading the Lakers to a golden age in the future.
lol. Sure thing.LOL. I love how little you know about basketball. They took a huge step back. AD was the key to their defense. Now they traded away their best defensive big for a non-defense ball dominant point forward. Which makes no sense since they already have someone just like that in LeBron.
This is why basketball is about more than stats. Defense matters and so does fit. Two ball dominant point forwards who play zero defense are not better than one of them with a two-way dominant big like AD.
Mavs are the ones who actually improved immensely with this trade. Kyrie and AD are now arguably the best duo in the league based on talent and fit.
D4H thinks he knows everything about every sport.Your takes are outrageousLuka took the MAVERICKS to the finals last yr... ppl also said LeBron wouldn't fit with Kyrie, Dwade, KLove, Bosh etc... they've all worked out except for Westbrook but I think that had more to do with the other players than LeBron. Westbrook is a driving guard and AD clogging the paint/free throw line area did him no favors.
Mavs got better defensively but they aren't world beaters all of the sudden.. they're 26-24 for a reason...i will say they have the pieces to be really good but they gotta make the playoffs 1st. Right now they have Kyrie & AD to score. Rest are role players.. they both sit out or get hurt way to often for them to be a big worry to any team in the west. Also the Lakers are 5-1 without AD this yr btw..
My family from the mid-state was in. We did a blind taste test on Weller 12, Pappy 12, and Elmer T Lee. We weren't really trying to identify which was which but which one was the best. We all chose the Weller 12 as our favorite. The Pappy was our least favorite. For this one, I was feeling a little froggy and used Hamilton Demerara 151
My go to rum right now is Planteray Mister Fogg. Such a banger
With Luka: finals. Without Luka: average at best. But ya sure not a good player to build around. People called lebron a stat padded too.I don't think Luka's a great piece to build around long term. He's poorly conditioned and plays zero defense. He's nothing more than a stat padder. I'd rather build around someone like Anthony Edwards if I were the Lakers. Pappy 12 needs more proof. I actually haven’t had Elmer T beforeMy family from the mid-state was in. We did a blind taste test on Weller 12, Pappy 12, and Elmer T Lee. Did I miss where Ant was offered in a trade? Hard for me to imagine the T-Wolves are shopping him. Luka, surprisingly, was shopped by the Mavs.I don't think Luka's a great piece to build around long term. He's poorly conditioned and plays zero defense. He's nothing more than a stat padder. I'd rather build around someone like Anthony Edwards if I were the Lakers. Luka is better than nothing but I don't think he's leading the Lakers to a golden age in the future.
I mean he 25 and a perennial MVP candidate plus he put butts in seats for the next decade. Great business move if nothing else for the Lakers.I don't think Luka's a great piece to build around long term. He's poorly conditioned and plays zero defense. He's nothing more than a stat padder. Agree to disagree over the long term. AD will remain injury prone and is 6 years older. I love this trade for LA. LeBron dishing and Doncic hitting 3s. Gotta find more big bodies nowDisagree. Mavs won this trade. AD is actually a two-way player. Plus he's a better fit with Kyrie. Luka is a ball dominant no defense playing guard. The white James Harden. DeRozan and Lavine played together in Chicago. The Kings need a pure PG for this lineup.Kings and Spurs won
Monk
Lavine
Demar
Keegan
Sabonis
Not sure how Lavine and Demar will play together….should be interesting.
I think Spurs are the realllllll winners.
Fox
Castle
Vassell
Barnes
Wemby
Bench: Paul, Sochan, Keldon, Julian
I’m with D4H on this one. Don’t see how Luka and LBJ coexist. There’s only one ball. On offense, they both want it. On defense, they both ignore it.Agree to disagree over the long term. I don’t think this trade is for LeBron. It’s for the next 10 years of the franchise. And now you have a guy that can lead you to the title game by himself. Agree he’s not a fit w LJ. But LJ is old as $&(; so won’t be a problem for long.I’m with D4H on this one. Don’t see how Luka and LBJ coexist. There’s only one ball. On offense, they both want it. Makes no sense to me for the Lakers.
Lakers won this trade in the long run…..Luka is a generational player that LA can build their future around.Disagree. Mavs won this trade. AD is actually a two-way player.
