Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Scouts are pegging Omar Norman-Lott as one of the top draft risers. They have one question though, why didn’t he play more? I wondered the same thing. Was it CRG love for BigO, was he in the dog house? He did seem to do a lot of immature things, but definitely should’ve played more snaps along with Tyre West IMO. I remember games of not seeing them two at all
One of the players always upped the pucker factor when they were on the field. Like a loose cannon where an unsportsmanlike flag could be thrown at any moment. . . was that ONL?

That seems like a crazy amount. . .
Vegas must think Igor breaks out of his funk based on finally playing a poor defensive team. Igor is the X-factor to our offense. He has been in a funk. UK is not a good defensive team. They do not rebound well. They are not big and physical defenders.

We're a tough team to beat, even with how we've been playing. I think we're the best team in the country when Lanier & Igor are both dialed in, assuming ZZ, Gainey & the rest play how they have been.

What was he like when you worked with him? What did you do with him?
Very arrogant and rules didn't apply to him. I was in operations, so I handled practices and events and had more than one run in with him because his time was more important than other peoples. That said, this isn't uncommon for coaches, but I found him to be the most difficult of all of the coaches I've worked with.
