After a series of strange questions about where I was coming from, my personal life, my weekend, the cop eventually asked me if I stormed the field. I said “I don’t know, you’re not a Bama fan are you?” He chuckled and said “alright man you’re good to get back in your car” and sent me on my way.

I got pulled one time doing 75 in a 45 on my bike coming home from Quaker State in Bristol. Note to y’all pull all the way across the bridge cuz bridges be state troopers territory. Anyway, the sheriff says you military cuz he recognized me 😳 and I said yea. Turned we served at the same base at the same time and he had pulled me over and let me go on base years earlier. He fist bumped me and let me go again.

The only thing slightly holding Heupel back is we recruit a profile of quality young men of character who fit our culture. Which limits our target pool a little bit. But it’s so worth it. Look at Georgia, Kiffin’s class, or Bruce Pearl days. Who cares what your rankings are when your players turn your streets into the fast and furious franchise every offseason or rob a convenience store. Or in the case of Alabama basketball literally murder someone.

Meh- healthy to have a little crazy. Thankfully our freshman smack talker has that covered. Gotta make em think twice about how far you’re willing to take things.

Because they lost. They think officials should help them win. These are the same people who cry over the "horns down" hand gesture. Them calling anyone else "pu****s" is laughable.

On Tim Banks:
I think Tim wants to be a head coach… If he gets that opportunity, he will be out of here. If not, then, I think Tennessee will have to pay him a good chunk of money since they have let him run into a expiring contract at the end of the year.
