This is BS and the conference should be ashamed.

Officials can certainly pick up a flag after the fact. Nobody is disputing that.

What makes this so egregious is the penalty was announced, the chains were moved, ball spotted, and both teams were lined up AND THEN they reversed the call, and it only happened because fans threw beer cans on the field and stopped play. If play wasn’t stopped due to the fans it wouldn’t have been overturned.

And it is even more shameful the official in the booth shilling for the officiating tried to explain it and say it was a good job. It really is disgraceful all around if we are to believe that officials don’t make biased calls and just make mistakes, the conference needs to own the mistakes when they happen.

I hope the league’s fecklessness results in SEC games looking like old episodes of Monday Nitro. The SEC needs to learn a lesson from this.

Run defense has been damn good but credit to the LBs without Pili stepping up

I think LB benefited BIGLY from the green dot/in-helmet era. I don't think the transition is as smooth without it. We still missed Pili tho.

We need to make Tim Banks one of the highest paid DCs in the country.

I’m extremely impressed with Banks and want Tennessee to go all out to find a way to keep him in Knoxville, but makes no mistake that Rodney Garner is the secret sauce in his success. They better find a way to keep him also.

Gotta give credit where credit is due, I’ve been super critical of the OL, but man they stepped up yesterday. Especially in the 2nd half, and same with Nico. I think we saw the offense really grow up yesterday
