seasoned qb and good WRs should be a nice test for our DBs.
their OL has some quality, I doubt they can hang with us for 4 quarters, but I doubt we are getting a tackle for loss or sack every sequence.
DL has an all-american that some think will get drafted, hopefully we get to see if Nico has improved in the pocket.

I think Grant may have been more of a factor here than most realize. I ve heard that he took a personal interest in this kid about 5 years ago and has been a constant source of information for David and his family. While I don’t think Grant pushed him to the good guys . His relationship with the kid certainly didn’t hurt

This is why I try not to get too worked up about “failing to close” on individual recruits.

From a buckeye perspective, it probably feels like they dropped the ball late in that recruitment; but in reality, they may have never even had a realistic chance. It’s difficult to know.

Now, obviously that doesn’t excuse a bunch of recruiting misses in the aggregate or bad evaluations.

main thing is getting out of this healthy, and with a win. anything else is gravy imo.

I wouldn't be offended if our 1s got tested for a bit, just to speed up the clock for the season. but we should be good enough to put them away and name the score.
