Basilio talking about things he’s hearing behind the scenes. When Butch was coach he heard all kinds of negative things TB didn’t want to share while he was still our coach. Basically waited until the end then shared how bad things were. On the flip side, he hears nothing bad behind the scenes with Heupel and the culture. We’re seeing an emotionally intelligent coach who has created an excellent culture.

The conversation turned to the tight ends. TB says he has heard from multiple people that leading up to the UTC game the staff felt like maybe they had missed on Staes. Something about how he performed in fall camp. Maybe he can play his way out of this perception.

I can't like this post, but Staes played a good bit. I am unsure of how reliable this is.

My friend is DJing at Hopfly. Our local Alumni Group is meeting at Clutch (but I'm avoiding that location. It's super close to the stadium but I've been there for too much in my life.) I think there is an event at Truist Ball Park.

Pat Summitt recruited til her water broke on the way home in a airplane from Virginia. Refused to have Tyler in Virginia held on til hitting state of Tennessee.


Anyone here know what recruit she was visiting?

I am sure it's been answered, but I recall it being Michelle Marciniak.

You have Nico for a few years. You’ve gotta strike while the irons hot. 8-4 record with this guy under center would be insane and not in a good way. Playoffs and more on the horizon. Take swings at the big transfers and recruits. Go all out with Nico

I agree..if you mean to just add a piece or two at weak spots without throwing the foundation out of whack.

Heups blueprint is obviously to build the right way on solid rock...developing HS recruits and adding a transfer piece when needed..like Heard, and not the stupid shifting sand.

Norvell is f'n toast 9 months after going 13-0...I don't want anything that even resembles that.

To be honest I feel like part of that perception is probably created by the talent in that TE room around him. Staes isn't the athletic type of TE that Davis or even Kitselman is.

Just realized no college football tonight because of the NFL kickoff...

Am I the only one that hates the NFL trying to play games outside Sunday/Monday night? I have always felt like Thursday, Friday and Saturday should be for HS and college football only.

Don’t care one bit for the NFL. The less that circus interferes with my watch schedule, the better.
