This bizzaro BS by the umps is true in all sports today. They make it all about themselves - they are the bosses. They don't care about the impact of their decisions on the players, families, fans.

Giving them infinite immunity is absurd. They get paid well. They should have performance reports as part of their job just like anyone else, and the level of significance of the games they’re allowed to coach should be based on such.

I don’t know how you create rules that would prevent this situation, the wrongful removal of the underdog head coach in a win or go home game in the biggest game/series in college baseball, but this is just wrong.
