Don't condone what he said at all. However, some of these guys have never been inside a locker room or on a competitive field. Whether you like it or not, the rules just don't always apply. I say this as a person who was a Christian coach the vast majority of my life. Trash talk exists, sometimes it crosses the line. In the heat of competition, sometimes it goes beyond that. It is not for the overly sensitive, thin-skinned crowd.Oh for craps sake..![]()
I'm not sure that I care how they cast us, unless it makes recruiting harder for the coaches. What gets under my skin is the preferential treatment that coaches who are the NCAA & media darlings receive. That's what inspired my original comment. Why do people hate being the renegades? Embrace being the bad boys of baseball. I wish the football team would take on the same persona.
I need this one regularlyHappy Tuesday winners
June 3, 2025: When you dump down in self-pity you need to begin to count your blessings. Look at what you have spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically instead of what you do not have. There is much to be thankful for. You belong to the Lord, and He takes care of His own. Isaiah 46:3-4 Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been upheld by Me from birth, who have been carried from the womb: Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
I’d wager good money that Arky is a little nervous about this series. For good reason obviously. I think Tennessee has hit their post season stride.Liam Doyle coming out of the bullpen was intimidating as hell. The Mobb Deep "shook ones" and Dropkick Murphy's "I'm Shipping up to Boston" playing loudly in the stadium, with his hair on fire attitude, gaze, and throwing 100 with movement on 2 days rest might be one of the most intense things I have seen pitching wise from Tennessee baseball. Several things happened with this appearance.
1) Liam was not going to stay out of this game. This sent a message to the entire team that this is no longer the regular season. If your top prospect is willing to risk it all, they better also.
2) Tony isn't messing around. The intensity is different. We are the defending champs. Want us? You got us.
3) Wake Forest knew the game was over. That was obvious on the dugout shots.
I don't know if we will beat Arkansas. I think they are the best team in college baseball this year. But I would absolutely not bet against Tennessee right now.
I used to care..but since that side throws slurs around at conservatives like a pedo shoveling candy to the kiddos at Halloween...I don't anymore...screw them all.Don't condone what he said at all.
