First, we are not striking everyone out. We do strike a lot of people out. Those numbers are exacerbated by non-conference play. We do not have many guys that stay low in the zone and get ground ball outs. We stay up in the zone. It gets you strikeouts but also gives up walks and long balls.If you're striking everyone out and not having a bunch of guys on base its hard to turn double plays.
I'm trying to find a correlation between pitching and double plays.
