Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I can do 10hrs standing on my head. I drove to Miami from Knoxville once. That's was a pita, 😂.
Really though, 10hrs isn't bad if you're staying a while. That's probably half the reason I like the Charleston area, it's only about 6hrs.
Enki,

Yup, do 5 hours couple times a week.

JC to Fairmont is the roughest. Usually around 12, 5 1/2 each way, 1 stop.

Id rather be dog tired than spend a single night in WV.

The variable is three children under 11. Some people can do it, I cannot. 5 hours became 7 1/2. 9.5 hours became 14.

After we got here safely, remained sober.

In other games today I think I'm rooting for:

The Real Crimson (only SEC I will have rooted for, but I wouldn't mind seeing UNC taken down a notch and in Chapel Hill, no less) (At least UNC has no-show, no-work academic courses on Zoom to ease their pain)

Murray State (sorry @peaygolf but this is Old Piss)

Oregon State (because they're not in the Big 10, plus Beavers)

Little Rock ('nuff said)

Southern Miss (not in the ACC, plus they're scrappy and 2-0 against The Fake Crimson sister-humpers this year).

Whichever team the Vols are playing tomorrow night, Wake Forest or Cincinnati, neither team will have any arms left.

Both teams have pretty much used up their bullpen, especially Wake Forest. Could be a fun night at LNS.
And that's why a series is the best way to determine the best in baseball. Baseball is the only sport where the most important position is rotated every game, you need at least four or five shutdown arms to win in a tournament. It's like a football team having to have three starting quarterbacks and rotate them every week.
