Recruiting Football Talk VIII

You mean all the young dudes?

Was thinking back to last year and our perceived strengths heading into the season. Obviously we were high on our pass rush/DL, RB room, QB.

What, if any, is a unit of perceived strength on this team? I'm struggling tbh. Is DL still thought of highly?

Friends with human barkers, rubbing elbows with folks that want Tennessee's god given water rights, I just can't 🤕🤢🤮

Sherman should have burned it down twice just for good measure.
I can attest, as a life long Braves fan. Ive been 'friends' with one Georgia alum.

Used to give her absolute hell, about Choir boy. Maybe ill tell you about the rest...

DL should still be good. Not as deep.
OL and TE should be good.
I think wr's are better, but we may not see it depending on the run game... And QB.

I think the secondary will be good. Not sure about lb.

And not sure about QB...

There a lot of 'new' and that usually translates in to some struggles along the way.

This season, to me has 8-4/7-5 written all over it.

We really dont need that deep a DL as we had last year. Honestly, once we hit league play our rotation didnt seem to be a difference maker. Could be wrong here but thats how I saw it.

Saw a clip on IG showing Google streetview of Cumberland Ave from 2007-2025.

Man can nostalgia distort memories. People forget how it was full of ugly billboards, chain fast food, ratty danceclubs, and just straight eyesores. Yes it was fun, but kids don't drink like they used to either. It definitely appears more intentional and well designed now. Fewer billboards, more living spaces, more walkable and bikeable.

The old Cumberland reminded me too much of the Cedar Bluff exit. Eyesore galore. Many great memories aside...
