Outside of FSU, the favorites have been lucky to win, but the rest have all won so far (to my knowledge...the bigger games).

It's yet to be seen if Deion reaches the level of 'mediocre' coach.

Jackson St:
2019 (year before he joined): 4-8
2020: 4-3 (covid season)
2021: 11-2
2022: 12-1

Colorado:
2022: (season before he joined): 1-11
2023: 4-8


It seems he's been a pretty decent coach (considering both attracting talent and the rest) up to this point, simply based on actual results. Only progressed the team at each stop. I will say I think he picked the right kind of offense. Somewhat similar to the better ones in CFB. Now, who knows after his main dudes leave. Maybe total implosion, but that's predicting a far off future at this point. To the here and now he's been successful as far progressing each program he's been head of.

The way NCSU finished their game is more important than the final score. They'll be better against us in Charlotte. They have very very solid pieces. McCall is a talented QB. Their RB really dominated towards the end of the game. Jolly is a playmaker. And their WR Concepcion is a baller. Our defense will certainly give them fits though.

Question is if their defense can contain us for 4 quarters and if Nico has the offense humming. Definitely need good reps tomorrow.

Who will be tasked with guarding their 2 main WRs?

That is a slight concern if McCall gets hot (of course he will at some points against us ) and they throw quick routes.

I couldnt tell you whos who in which conference. Usually takesa couple of years to get em all straight, but they change so often now. Like I got no idea what conference IA State is in, or say Cal. To see Oregon in B10 is just weird.

I’ve watched every game most in person since Moses was floating in a basket and we definitely slowed down last year to accommodate Joe. Hooker knew the play book, and what Heup wanted done there were times he never looked at the sideline. Joe couldn’t process like that.
Besides the rule changes don’t dictate tempo, just reduce the number of snaps. WE WENT SLOWER.

He went 2-8, how would you characterize it? My fading memory says he is the only guy with ANY sub 500 record and this was Mendoza line low. Yankee/ND bias to the max. Really like to know the distribution of voters, NE vs rest of country.

But...that one article I read saying an A&M win might help us in the long run for the playoff...since ND's schedule is a cakewalk.

Either way, somehow Notre Dame is objectively more likeable than A&M's cult.
