Recruiting Football Talk VIII

IMG_9409.jpegWell this is a definitely true scenario but he makes a point there. Got to win. He had that every loss was a death mentality. Same with Saban Kirby Dan Hurley etc

Honestly, I haven't followed it all that closely. I just remember the mess around Lonzo when he was in college and going to the NBA.
Lavar won in the end. Lonzo even though injured all the time has made at least $50M in the NBA, Lamelo is one of the best one PG’s and has a max contract worth over $200M, and Liangelo is signed to Def Jam now for probably close to $10M. The kids are all successful.

The last paragraph is stupid for multiple reasons.

#1 It would never happen
#2 Heup has never made excuses for losses. He would not blame it on that he would just blame it on himself. I'll be damned if I am going to listen to Urban Meyer about what players we should keep/let go. Dude was the king of keeping criminals on his team just because they played well on Saturday.

As If you needed another reason to dislike Urban Meyer..........

We lose to Florida in inexplicable ways. And even when we win, the games are inexplicably close.

But yeah. This year if Heupel loses to Florida because we don't have a QB, that will be the one that really sets off the fan base. Sure lol

What's really crazy is... If they did everything the same way, but didn't tell Nico to hold out of practice, he could have played the Spring game, entered the portal, realized no one was going to pay him over 2 mil, and they would have taken him back.

The art of not only taking a wrong turn, but burning the bridge behind you lol
