We contained his legs well last year so really wasn’t, however that 4th and 1 play he almost broke free for a long TD, the saving tackle? Will freaking Brooks with a helluva shoestring tackle. This defense is good because they play as a team, if one guys messes up another has their back.

True, but don't ever sell Brooks short. He's a very, very solid DB. Plays smart and hits, he's always in the right spot, the corners and lb's can take some chances because they know he'll be in the right spot.....team football.

Some more thoughts.

Dante Thornton is our big play threat. Dude needs to be on the field more than he is.

Still say work Mathews in more, get him ready this bye week. Kid is too talented to not get more reps.


Hopefully that TD catch is a launching point for Brazzel to make more plays. Kid is a freak Athlete.

Jermod McCoy deserves all the praise, but Ricky Gibson is solid at corner too. Sure he gave up a TD, but was in pretty good coverage most of the night.

James pierce is a top 10 pick in the draft. Gets held 90% of the time and never gets a call because refs are **** but still impacts the game heavily. Dude is a beast.

As much as they penalized bama, they coulda thrown 10 more flags no exaggeration. They also threw some trash flags against us.

I just want to know why Kirby is allowed to publicly trash officials, but we have been taking it up the butt for years and can’t say a word??!!
