*to clarify..... I hate "working" on plumbing. Iindoor plumbing
RATM is amazing. Finally saw them live 2 years ago and it was cathartic. Toured with RTJ. I've only been to 2 shows in my life where the entire crowd stood and sang the entire time, not a minute of rest, and that was one of them.I've always felt RATM and Green Day were extremely overrated. Especially Green Day. But that's just my opinion.
Not much better in the last 40 years than mid to late 80’s Guns90s took 80s commercialism over the edge. Both decades were pretty disgraceful for music and culture in a variety of ways. There was plenty of good underground and counterculture though. But the mainstream became extreme commercialism and materialism...image.
And Foo Fighters keeps rearing their ugly head now. As soon as I see them or their ilk, I switch over to a different channel.Absolutely, two of THE worst most overrated bands in history. Nirvana had one song unplugged. 'Man who sold the world' Was great, but was a cover. Foo Fighters suck ass.
Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Blind Melon...
The Barbie song and What does a fox say both say hold my beer
Oh by the way, thank you. Give me earlier Disturbed any day.Absolutely, two of THE worst most overrated bands in history. Nirvana had one song unplugged. 'Man who sold the world' Was great, but was a cover. Foo Fighters suck ass.
Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Blind Melon...
They literally think that stat means nothing...they are that ignorant.4th in the country in team ERA
It's just my opinion, but if I had the opportunity I'd go to one of their shows. The music gets me hype for sure. I'm just not as big on them as do many others are.RATM is amazing. My favorite moment was the family behind us. The dad was holding on swaying with his handicapped son. Probably 10-13 years old. The kid knew every word, as did the dad. The kid was going ham. It looked like the most amazing bonding moment for both. That's what music is about. Then I looked around...we had 10,000 folks doing the same. It was beautiful.
Never knew if I'd get to check that box off my bucket list. It lived up to everything.
No, but I bet I can still knock someone down with my fist. Has happened before, true story. I still bet on me, now where and not at the paper mill Waffle House. I don’t want to sully their name. Unlike the one at Lenoir City, try going there after 2:30 am. The crap you see, makes you set down, order the smothered and covered and just watch the show. I went there a few years back. Saw a ‘he/she (mostly he) spreading their wealth and lo and behold, there’re quite a few drunk men buying into it. No need to worry, it didn’t interfere with my breakfast. I figured a breakfast and a show! You gonna beat someone with your walker, granny?
4th in ERA...and IIRC separated from 1st by .07 which basically means that over the whole season we gave up maybe 2-3 more earned runs than ArkySeems like that was the story all the way back to preseason. I think they've done very well, considering the early worries. Probably is still the weakest link of the team. . . then again, I don't really know much about baseball.
I loved the grunge movement but felt Nirvana was a little overrated. I actually preferred STP, AIC and Soundgarden to Nirvana.I HATE the grunge movement. That includes Nirvana, yes I said it. Foo Fighters songs sounds the same as being stuck in the early 2000.
