My memory is hazy, granted it was nearly two decades ago. I recall him being soft at times. Er at least hesitant.

Watched him with Rams and the Eagles and as “Blue Boy” with the Duke

Always thought the Wrigley Field experience was overrated, but my one time attending a game was a treat listening to the fans and their stories. Similarly I detested Barry Switzer in his heyday but would pay hard earned money to listen to him talk Sooner football and how he paid for great players. All that to say I’d love to talk football who saw history in the 60’s and 70’s as well as the 80’s. Twitter posts don’t come close to matching up.
