Wasn’t he 6’9 though?šŸ˜…
that guy is 6'10". But what I meant was wayne didnt play that big around the rim. At least the two times I saw him play in HS, and then in college. Maybe Im misremembering.

Edit: Went back and watched some highlights from 07. Didnt recall him being that physical around the rim, esp in HS

I remember Wayne’s smooth mid range..he was definitely our bright spot during that time.so fun watching him play

Yes, agreed. That's what I remember more for. And one of the reasons I said what I said. New guy seems to have a precense down low, twss.

We will see I’m sure šŸ‘€ I’m just happy Barnes is filling this roster with talent…hopefully awaka sees we’re not going to wait and he comes back…Barns is low key flexing right now respectfully

I like NIL 100%, but there does need to be a cap with contracts set in place. If you make money from a school, you need to be that schools employee and sign a contract, just like the NFL. There has to be some rule structure in place. More than likely a seperate league would have to be formed with super conferences outside of the NCAA's incompetence.

People like to argue that coaches can change jobs at a drop of a hat, but there are also contracts and buyouts in play.
Student Athletes don’t make money from a school - they make money from endorsements, signatures, t-shirts, special video phone calls, personal appearances, etc. They are not and should never be employees of the school…imho
