It’s more or less for entertainment reasons. But Indiana St did have a NET ranked 29th. It’s a solid team.
I’m not saying they were bad, but the NET itself (like the RPI) is kind of flawed. They had 1 Q1 win and a Q4 loss. I would probably say St. John’s or OU were worthier picks than UVA.

That's awesome. I bought my boys the Transformers and Thundercats series on DVD when they were younger. Neither boy got into watching them but I enjoyed it.

Those old 80s action cartoons were so good....
GI Joe
Transformers
Thundercats
He-Man

*I also bought them the complete series of The Muppet Show on DVD. They liked them much better than the old cartoons.
Thundar the Barbarian, my friend.

That's awesome, I did Scooby doo and TMNT and my kids still watch them both. Got all Jonny Quest episodes on DVR too. Son loves it. He also loves every one you listed........as do I. I love to watch them with him.
We watched all The Dukes of Hazzard episodes (not Coy and Vance) together when they were in elementary school and they loved them more than any other show/cartoon I have shown them from my childhood.

*My older son got hooked on Hogans Heroes (my all time favorite sitcom) when he was in middle school. I thought that was pretty cool.

I got my boys hooked on Bugs Bunny and they in turn got me hooked on Sponge Bob. There is actually a lot of cross over humor between the two. I am now working on the grandkids. 🤣

At the moment, there are a few local
rec league teams that seem like worthier picks than Virginia.

Now Looney Tunes goes without saying. Both of them loved Road Runner and Wile E Coyote (my favorite). We still watch a lot of Tom and Jerry too

I did watch a lot of SpongeBob and Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends when they were little. (I really liked Fosters.)

*I still watch Gumball about every Saturday morning. But, they never did like it.

**I was lucky.....both of them hated Barney. 🤣

She did rock it out with GnR in Nashville…..I’ll give her that.
Im not much of an Underwood fan; but, I don't care what anybody says, her rocking out right there, in that video, is as sexy as sexy gets. Ace Of Spades is one of the most badass songs ever recorded, and she brought a badass to it, imo. You have to have some big ole balls to try and step into Lemmy Kilmister's boots, and she was game.

Big ole balls would make her a lot less sexy.
