Even their head coach said this in his press conference postgame: “maybe the SEC isn’t ready for us to be regular seasons champs”

I've not seen one fan base not blame officiating for outcome of games.

The Soth Carolina coach is just a sore loser because this is the only season they will be in the conversation as a top tier team.

Santi now sits at 205 career steals, the career mark is held by Vincent Yarbrough at 211.

ZZ (who will most likely surpass whatever the record is after another season) is sitting at 176 right now.


Not sure if he can get there unless he has a serious tear and we have a deep run, but the single season points record is 806, DK sits at 622 (roughly 8 games scoring about 22 PPG) if we make the SECT game that's 4 games (counting Saturday) and to make the Final Four have to win 4 games....

What baffles me is it seems like every year the SEC picks a team no one will expect to be very good and just straight up lets them get away with everything.

South Carolina was that team this year, I've watched half a dozen of their games and for them to be 13th in the SEC in personal fouls a game is an absolute JOKE. (only Vandy had less called on them)
Last year, Texas A&M they went to the FT line 25 times a game, nearly 3 more than any other team in the SEC.
The two seasons before then it was the Razorbacks flopfest and Jaylin "always taking a charge" Williams
2019-20 it was Auburn, who shot a staggering 26.4 FTAs per game 2 more than the flopbacks even!


The craziest part is none of these teams have won the regular season OR conference tournament during the year they seemed to get different officiating...
