Recruiting Football Talk VII

He was skilled for his era. Get real. Someone like Kryie Irving would make him look foolish with the handles NBA and even college players have today. & a defender like ZZ or Mashack would pick his pocket every time down the court dribbling up at his damn shoulder. Idc what league he played in. He was good in his ERA doesn't mean he'd be worth a damn in today's time. Cause he wouldn't be 🤷‍♂️

Dr J couldn’t stop him….. Would he be considered a good athlete….Several of the ball handling drills that Kyrie and the rest did to enhance their ball handling skills were started by Pistol Pete.

Chris Mortensen passing makes a part of me sad. There was a time when I loooved the NFL and counted down to the draft like a kid counts down to Christmas. Used to really enjoy him covering the draft and the NFL in general. Days gone by.

Last draft I watched with him on it was rough. His disease was taking its toll. Was a tough watch.

Glad he’s at peace now.

Jimmer Fredette and Doug McDermott won player of the year.

What Blue Blood did those guys play for?
Yeah not saying you have to play for a blueblood to win, but his campaign would have a lot more steam if he played for one of the bluebloods.

ESPN would have been all over him from the start if he was a blur devil or wore Carolina blue. Wouldn't have taken until February for people to hype him up and your Jay Bilas' of the world would have already been advocating for him over Edey for a while.

Why do we feel the constant need to compare people or ourselves to others? Caitlin Clark is an amazing women's basketball player and should be celebrated for her amazing collegiate career, that isn't even over by the way. She still has several games to play. Why does comparing her to someone from a different sport in a different era of the game make her achievements more amazing or valid?

Would appreciate some prayers from the nation. Having our 2nd baby girl this summer and found out she has some form of a cardiac abnormality. Meeting with Le Bonheur sometime in the next few weeks to get a game plan together.
Prayers for peace for you all and prayers for your sweet baby girl.

That's an embarassing Top 5 list lmao. Ohtani is the only one that should be on it. I'm pro-Caitlyn Clark but this is getting out of hand.
It says relative to her peers. So it’s hard to argue hes wrong. Does that mean she’s better than lebron or Jokic? Of course not. But in same sense that doesn’t mean Floyd Mayweather isn’t one of the best pound for pound boxers ever just cuz he’d get his ass kicked by Ali or Tyson

Just like Serena Williams, compared to her peers one of if not the best athletes of this generation

America could take a lesson from Ty Webb...Screenshot_20240304_130041_DuckDuckGo.jpg
*I always thought he was a very deep character in one of the greatest movies ever to hit the big screen.

Guys you want to know something?

We have a better resume than Arizona and it's not actually that close.

Yes they have 8 quad 1 wins to our 6. However, only four of those wins were against teams that would he in the tournament field if it started today. @Duke (N)Michigan St (H)Wisconsin and (N)Bama

Colorado, Utah and Oregon are NIT teams. Colorado and Utah could play their way in, but as of now they are out and Colorado's resume is incredibly fraudulent.

To only have FOUR big wins and losses to Oregon St and Stanford and be so firmly on the 1 line is just absolute BS.

How about the Vols? 6 quad one wins, all against teams in the field plus a quad 2 win over Florida and they will be in the dance.

@bama (H)Bama (H)Auburn (H)Florida (H)Illinois @Wisconsin @kentucky

We have 7 great wins to their 4. Three of them were road games while only one of theirs was on the road. They have two really bad losses to teams with losing records and we don't.

Same number of wins and losses, our schedule has been harder, we have better wins and better losses. There is just bs bias happening, or no one has decided to actually asses both resumes. UNC should be ahead of Arizona too.
