I've seen ZZ pester way better PGs than KC into fits...people forget that basketball is played on both ends of the floor.

They also think just because someone looks more "athletic and fluid" means they are a better basketball player...and that is wrong.

Also...heart and grit counts for a lot in a PG...and ZZ has that in spades.

Intangibles, ZZ is full of em.

I know this isn't the time for it, but out of curiosity, what in the world does this team look like next season?

I'm guessing Aidoo, ZZ, Awaka, Mashack will be big pieces. And then who?

Gainey, Estrella, Dillione?

Feels like we'll have to hit the portal for a few more pieces, especially a taller sized guard, another SF/PF?

It's going to feel like a whole new team to me without seeing good ole Vescovi and JJJ lacing it up...once again

Carr will play a major role next year as well. He has shown flashes.

If TN stays a 2 and plays in Charlotte which session would I but tickets for? There is a session 1, 2, and then 3rd on 23rd.

After talking about crap officials and referees forever, it is nice to have a quality umpired game in this one.

They weren’t there for Volleyball….. they were there to set a record.

They sell out their basketball arena for volleyball home games. They have the highest volleyball attendance in the country, even if you take out the stadium game. They've led the country in average annual attendance since 2013. That wasn't a one-off event in anything other than magnitude.

Tennessee could try to do the same thing and would fail because the volleyball program hasn't built up a culture of success for a decade.

KC averaged 14 points, 5 assists, 2 steals as a TRUE FRESHMAN.

Kid would be downright scary as a 3rd or 4th year player.

That said, not sure he'd "work ZZ". He's held his own all season against the best...minus the first TAMU matchup...and he got revenge there.

Having those 2 would have us the best team in the country rn. But still having ZZ isn't even a consolation. He's a stud.

Both guys are dudes.

It’s close!…but I agree with everything you said I just feel like ZZ has had to be more of a scorer because of inconsistency around him after chandler left. he had to be that guy at times or we lose…chandler was more flashy and looked to pass first which is what a point guard is for…I feel that way about a lot of the one and done players we had…I think with this DK situation though the top two that could have stayed and took lot of the pressure off of him would have been Keon or Julian..that would have been scary if they stayed

But what does that do to bring in the NIL money needed to get it started? Yeah, the fans would go watch if they’re good, but to get good you have to have the coach and the NIL money to pay the players to come…and to get THE coach you have to have the NIL to convince them you can pay the players before they will come.

That’s not how it works soda. Go pay the best coach you can find, let them coach up the roster, start bringing in better players, then the money starts coming in when results are shown. The university has money. They have enough money to pay a WBB coach, without taking away from other sports. Nobody is gonna pony up money for NIL on the promise of “if we get enough money from the fans we will try to make the program better”.

It just isn’t important to them right now. It isn’t that im some huge WBB fan either, just really respect coach Summit and hate to see her legacy floundering.

Calm down we’re talking about style of play ..not accomplishments what exactly are the expectations for a guy who’s here only a year?…let’s have that discussion..they’re one and done for a reason.not even ZZ had that ability so is he considered unaccomplished ? I think we set the bar a little high for one and done players personally..as long as they make a difference and live up to the hype in some form or fashion we should be happy…you don’t see anyone dragging Scotty and Jarnell for not living up to their hype

Chicago and New York are different breeds man..that’s why I was always a big Iverson fan he brought street ball style of play to the NBA just like kyrie. he stays cooking folks
