Not really, it doesnt always matter how good the DB's are if other parts and pieces cant do their job. Its honestly more impressive because if his DB's werent good what would they have given up?
So, you're saying it's good coaching because the guys who are supposed to cover the WR, the ones primarily responsible for defending the pass are not at fault and it's because they had such a bad front 7? I think you need to read what you posted again and see if it makes any sense. It's doesn't to me.

@butchna ....you think Todd Helton gets the votes to make HOF...next season ...?

Also what about Chase Utley he is on ballot next year??
Not @butchna , obviously

Helton got over 72% last year. I’d be shocked if he didn’t break 75% and get in this year.

Nobody breaks 70%, and then doesn’t get in.
Except Curt Schilling, lol people don’t like that guy.

Wow that'd be nice... but yay banks.
Durkin allowed 31.5 ppg when matched with an uptempo sec offense (when he coached at Ole Miss)

Even at TAMU with a ton of D talent, he regressed from the year before and allowed 22 ppg his 2 years. Just fine (not quite, with the given talent) but he ended up just right by what UT allowed those 2 seasons, so ...

Just funny observation is all
2 Stars get drafted every year.
10,000+ non blue-chips enter the college ranks every 4 years.

They’re out there. They’re hard to find, though.
They’re always pointed to with a resounding “see!”

If there’s a coach out there that can magically spot them - bring him in and pay him $Millions.

We have a real problem if Herring is still in the two deep next year. If Carter, Telander, and Smtih aren’t ready, then you have to take another portal LB and BJM needs to step up his evaluations.
I think we have been a little unfair to Herring myself included. He was thrown into the position and learning by fire he has been out of position which makes him look slower than he is. He should improve in time. GBO

If you’re requiring toughness and courage to post on here? You’re doing it wrong. I’m on plenty of ignore lists and mine increases by the day…sometimes hour. Who benefits from the resulting peace?
