Fwiw Mizzou looked "bad" (lol) last year too. Instant win? Of course not. UK finished 1 game worse than us this season and we sqeaked by them...and if it's an insta-win due to history, there goes UF.

Biggest questions I still have after the Deon experiment:
1) Do they get less wins if they only took the 4/5 star transfers and kept the other 45+ scholarship guys from the old Colorado team?
2) How many of the 51 transfers he took last year stick? and how much does that hurt their roster going forward? (Colorado is on the hook for their scholarship now until they are out of eligibility or they graduate even if they leave).
3) Does Deon care that he has the 60th ranked recruiting class?

I imagine the next few weeks will be huge for them in terms of recruits and transfers.

TN out recruits all of those schools, except Florida, and they've been on par the last couple of years. Everyone says this game is about Jimmy's and Joes....... the talent in those games are equal, losing those games are on the coaching staff, just like Mizzou and UF were this year. Losing even 1 is a massive red flag for Heup.

Texas is in if they win Saturday ..no matter what Sankey tries to pull...

Only hope Alabama should have is for FSU to lose ...if FSU doesn't lose too bad for Nicky...

I can see the argument if Bama beats UGA. Texas won't have as many quality wins as Bama will in that scenario.

They'll jump fsu regardless, no way the committee puts a backup qb in the CFP.

I can see Oregon Michigan Georgia Bama or Michigan Georgia Texas Bama. I wouldn't agree with those, but I can see the committee doing that.
