Are we able to add a guard who can see as much time as Daniel got? Not sure. I’m hoping our guards improve.

Could we add a big who could take Fulk / Walker minutes? I think so.

What I’m saying is there’s more of the guards available than bigs, meaning I think there are more of the James Daniels out there than the Karem Kanter’s.

One big guy I’ve seen mentioned though is Mike Daum, adding him would be intriguing for sure.

A guy I hope we take is Myreon Jones. Committed to Memphis this month but has decommitted due to tubby being fired. Jerry Meyer is a huge fan. Meyer said recently on a podcast that if it was just him doing the rankings he would be top 50 and maybe a 5*. He might be a guy that would redshirt just because of the amount of depth we have but he would be great for the future.

Tennessee has to sign a guard for next season, preferably someone who can backup at PG. With the current roster UT is susceptible to ruining the whole season if Jordan Bone goes down with an injury.

I feel like Walker is good enough, he will be a beast by the time he leaves Knoxville . So I think we need a guard who can score and make plays off the dribble .

We need the same type of individual player improvements this off season as we saw from last off season. If so, 2018/19 will be another fun year!

Schofield and Turner are playing close to their potentials IMO, but GW could take a step forward with improved shooting range. Bone could improve his scoring percentage on drives to the basket. Alexander could and should continue his all round development considering his late start in the sport. Pons ought to be better as he gets more comfortable. Bowdin can improve his offense. Hopefully one of Walker, Fulkerson, or Kent can step up to become a solid contributor.

If several of these happens, then we don't need any roster additions to have a great year.

Anyone know how Kent progressed during the season? Has he added weight? I think his shooting range will stretch the five spot if he can consistently knock it down.

Johnson will surprise a lot of people if he cracks the rotation and adds strength. I see a Prince type player in him.

Pons will be better once his comfort level smooths out. He has more upside than any of the wing players.

Memphis has a coach and his son plays high school ball with Simons. They are likely to get Wiseman away from UK now too. Nothing embarrassing about it. Just an unfortunate set of circumstances if it happens.

Penny has a name and legit brand recognition. Memphis is an NBA town and the school has a lot of tradition. They have plenty to sell to an impressionable kid.

It's unfortunate that you look for the smallest crack and then go way overboard with hyperbole.

Ziti is back on his Barnes bashing wagon, looking for any possible straw to grasp at, golden stuff. Memphis landing Simons would be similar to Missouri landing The Porter’s, it happens, like you said they’re likely to pull Wiseman from UK, how embarrassing for Calipari.

I'm not on the Barnes bashing wagon.

You don't allow discussion that doesn't involve coach worship.

I forgot the part where we held a spot for the porters and focused all our "efforts" on them. I also forgot when Missouri was in the state of Tennessee. I also forgot when Memphis hired Simons dad as an assistant coach. So yeah, it's not the same.
