Gotcha. I had the WWW figured, but was having trouble with the rest.

UK will have trouble finding a spot if he truly reclassifies, plus they have PG Immanuel Quickley and two other shooting guards already signed. If they take another player, they need a big man. Now if he stays 2019, I can definitely see them getting involved.

I still haven’t seen Ramey say this, I looked last time you mentioned this and didn’t see anything at that time or since from Ramey saying Vols are looking to add 2.

Well with Montgomery specifically I wonder if his recruitment wasn’t a bit shady and thus why we haven’t gotten involved, I mean he was committed to Auburn? With that said, I think in a 1 year scope adding an experienced veteran big man could be better for next years team than a 5* freshman, yes.

You add Simons and Montgomery next year and no I wouldn’t complain at all, but I would wonder how that locker room would be, those guys don’t get the minutes they’re wanting and chemistry could quickly deteriorate.

I just can't think of many high impact big men grad transfers in recent memory. Not that we need an enormous impact, but a guy that could deliver 10 and 7 every night would be great. If we can find that guy, then great. They just seem few and far between.

MiKyle McIntosh has gave Oregon 11ppg 6rpg this season, graduate transfer from Illinois State.

Karem Kanter has given Xavier 10ppg 5rpg this season, graduate transfer from Green Bay.

I think that TN has a solid roster with great chemistry. Don't need to add two in this class. I'm a little worried about Simons being added to the mix (look at Oklahoma and Trae), but I think that Barnes would manage things pretty well. Still, I'd almost rather have Harris instead.

I think it’s something at least worth the discussion...if you had to choose Harris for 4 years or Simons for 1 year I’m not sure the answer is as easy as many would think.

Give me Weezy all day. 4 year player. Great career.

Of course that is in hindsight and we don't know how Simons or Harris are gonna pan out.

Just sign both. :)

The case for Simons would be stronger if there was an expected huge drop off after next year. But with Williams, Walker, Turner, Bone, Bowden, Pons, Johnson, Fulkerson, and Kent coming back in 2019-20 TN might even be better in two years than next year.

What if this FBI thing blows up and some players are eligible to transfer out? Maybe we get lucky there if we have an open spot.

Tobias is also who I thought of, but in comparison to JayVaughn Pinkston who ended up at Villanova for 4 years...that was the guy that Tennessee passed on in favor of Harris.

That is kinda what I had hoped for. Ole Miss football type situation. We would have to be a very attractive option to someone next year you would think.

I wonder if there is any mutual interest in Tennessee and UNC transfer, Jalek Felton (Raymond Felton's nephew)?

Felton withdrew from UNC on Jan. 29th, and has received his release. Former 5*, 6-3 PG who I imagine would have to sit a year. Bone and Turner will be SRs when Felton is eligible as a rSO. He was suspended from UNC in January, the reasons for which are not very clear.

Barnes obviously has connections with the state of NC, and is friends with Roy Williams. Perhaps Roy can give Rick the gist of the situation, and create a happy ending for everyone involved.

Saw Hubbs mentioned three possible visitors this weekend: Tyler Harris, Josiah James, and Kira Lewis. It sounds like Harris and Lewis may be a no go. Anyone heard anything recent on James?
