A transfer could depend on who gets signed. Barnes is trying to get a PG or a combo. That shouldn't affect Kent, Pons, Fulkerson, or Johnson. There are a lot more minutes available for those 4 freshmen year after next if they can't take them away from Alexander and Schofield.

Johnson, Turner, and Fulkerson lose a year if they were to transfer.

Johnson will only be competing directly with Schofield for one more year, but with Pons for the next 3.

Bone can most easily transfer with his redshirt still available, but he's starting and gets a lot of minutes. There would have to be an outstanding PG to be signed in order for Bone to be scared off.

Unless Johnson's injury is the reason why his playing time has been limited, he's the only player I won't be surprised to see transfer.

Kent has a much better chance of getting minutes year after next without Alexander on the roster. He's competing with Walker right now as a backup at the 5, but there's no reason that those two couldn't be on the court together.

Whether or not Fulkerson can add weight or develop a consistent outside shot will greatly affect who might stay and who might transfer.

Thanks for the reminder than Alexander is just a junior. As good as this year could be, next year will be even better.

Eh that’s risky...maybe taking Moore costs you Simons? Will be interesting to watch play out, and I’m sure a lot will have to do with how the staff feels they stand with Simons...staff may also know how likely a transfer or 2 is or is not.
