Not having seen video of Petrusev, he kind of sounds like a lesser version of Dirk Nowitzki. Is Petrusev at all like Nowitzki... tall, skinny, very good on the perimeter?

Yes, and mentions Dirk as one of his favorite players. He also has some post moves as well though. He isn't quite as limited to the perimeter as Dirk is, but isn't as polished as Dirk either.

The foundation of TN BB has been built. It is going to be interesting to see what highly ranked players will opt into the equation over the next few rounds of signees. I'd like for Dirk, Jr. to be the first of many.

Could be. Too early to tell. Nembhard will visit GU this weekend for Kraziness in the Kennel (the debut of the ‘17/‘18 Zags).

FWIW Gonzaga has a pretty good track record of it’s recent Canadian graduates going to the NBA. (Okynyk, Wiltjer, Sacre not so recent)

Nembhard just committed to Florida

He doesn't mind mixing it up in the paint. Rebounds better than most eastern European kids with a good outside shot. He's not as physical as Walker, but I could see him averaging 8+ rebounds with 20+ minutes a game. Not saying he will get that many minutes, immediately, but when he does .......

2 articles out today, 1 from national rivals guys and the other from Zags Blog...both say the same pretty much. Loved his visit to Tennessee and Vols are in a good spot, wants to take his final 3 visits though 3/5(Arizona, Virginia, Gonzaga, Utah and Maryland) and then decide at the end of this month. Neither article mentioned Gonzaga as any more serious of a threat than any other of the 5 schools, so take that for what it's worth.

If Vandy does land him, at least he's likely a one and done. It pains me to say this, but if Brice Drew can mix in a couple of those caliber players to go with his style and good role players, they are going to be a tough out for a while. imo

Always remember...instead of Will Wade, Mike White or Bryce Drew...Dave Hart brought us Donnie Tyndall

I read an article on 247 sports that interviewed Petrusevs HS coach. He seemed to indicate that he thought Tennessee was in a good spot here because his parents visited with him. But he also says he will take visits this month so who knows.

Very disappointing to hear he is taking visits. I am taking that as a swing and a miss by the staff since the kid is quoted saying he might make a decision this week.
