Recruiting Discussion

Which is why he should be ignored. He's not a Vol fan, he's merely going to keep doing the same crap over and over; which is with every reply either work in a way to bash Barnes, praise Tyndall, or both, then act like he's not.

They way he constantly praises Tyndall I swear he has a chubby fettish.

Tyler Polley in Pitt rivals article yesterday...

Tennessee, TCU, Temple, Dayton, UAB, Rhode Island, St. Louis, Xavier, Pitt, and some others are all recruiting me. Things have gone well and there is mutual interest with everyone that has contacted me at this point."

Pitt assistant coach Kevin Sutton has hit Florida fairly hard since joining Kevin Stallings' staff. In addition to Victor Uyaelunmo, Raqiuan Gray, and Anthony Polite, Sutton has also taken over the recruiting responsibilities of Polley - although that started before he arrived at Pitt.

"Coach Sutton knows my high school coach well. They are real close and are always talking. He is a great guy. He started recruiting me at Georgetown so then I wasn't sure if he would continue when he left. I would say right before the Peach Jam is when Pitt started recruiting me.

"I am definitely interested in Pitt. Right now, Tennessee and Pitt stick out as far as visits. In a week or so, I will look into scheduling both of those trips and then going from there."

That helps a lot if FSU is not going after him hard. Leonard Hamilton can recruit.

Idk how the guy continues to do it, but he does. Tennessee fans would've ran that guy out of here a looooong time ago, they thought Zo underachieved, good lord.

Whoa...

Kids don't think that way very much at all

Our real shot is him being a legacy. I wouldn't give up

The smart ones do when all things are equal, but in this case, there is more at play. Does he want to follow in brother's footsteps or does he want a guarantee of playing for a winning program and NCAA Tournament trips?

They think about rosters but very very very few ever think about being over recruited. That's the part I was speaking of

Looks to be recruited to play a similar role like Kennedy Meeks. He's got a big body and some skill to go along with it. He isn't as big though. Hopefully we have a good shot with him. Really have to see where he is at on their priority list.

Sorry sometimes I get a link on here and sometimes nah.

The person that I quoted seems to disagree with your statement and furthermore there are many others on this board that believe the college coach is a main factor in the process.

A coach has very little, if anything, to do with developing of an athlete's potential. It is the athlete who has the desire and competitive drive to excel that is the reason for their success.

The only thing that a coach can do is to put an athlete in a position to expose their talent to the powers that be at the next level, which aids them in promotion to that level.

This is what happened for Josh Richardson, who always had explosive offensive abilities. It was when his defensive quickness was exposed by playing pg that the pros set up and took notice. He would have eventually made it to the NBA, but the route would have been more arduous. His signing bonus probably would not have been as high, also.

Every time you type something I just feel so embarrassed for you. I would retort your ridiculous posts, like others do, but I would feel ashamed. I would feel like I am laughing at a one-legged man for how slow he runs. I can't do that. So carry on.....I enjoy the chuckles you provide.

You're one of my favorite posters rickbol. Mainly cause I know you won't respond to him./feeding

Just helping a clown with his red nose back on, laughing with the crowd.

You need not feel embarrassed for me. Feel embarrassed for the above post because you can't tell me one ridiculous thing that I have posted by your own assessment that I can't refute. To make a blanket statement is what is ridiculous on your part.

So, join the cast of clowns that worship at the altar of Rick Barnes and tell me and the world what he has done here that impresses you so much, but plan on a rebuttal if it has any holes in the logic. You may not be chuckling as much as you think after that.

I haven't been keeping up much in this thread so sorry if this has been discussed. Apparently, there are some mixed reviews on Stokes' game, but Parrish said he watched him play at the Peach Jam. He evidently played really well against the #1 ranked player in 2018. Said he showed nice post moves and shined. Guess it shows with the UNC offer.

Thanks for sharing the things that Parrish has been saying lately since we don't have the luxury of his insight in this part of the state. Also, it was good to hear what he said about Tyndall, which you posted yesterday.

You are one of the more sensible posters on this board!
