When watching Oklahoma the other night I heard the announcer mentioning how Kruger had built this OU, how it wasn't with highly ranked guys etc. so I decided to look it up. The 4 classes Kruger has signed since being at OU have averaged a national rank of 57, and he has never signed a top 40 class at Oklahoma. Furthermore, of 19 commitments he has had in 4 years, he has signed zero 5 stars and three 4 stars, the rest were 3 stars or less.

Now, I know that there have been other examples of guys thrown out there, but I just thought that was pretty noteworthy. Kruger has recruited guys that have potential, fit what he envisioned, and who are coachable, he has proven that those things can be more much more important than 4 and 5 stars being beside a guys name.

Just by watching the video Parker looks like an unbelievable passer of the ball. He can also shoot the ball decently. Johnson looks like a solid player too. Fox will also be a solid contributor to this team. With Barnes knowing how to develop talent the future looks bright in Knoxville for Vols basketball too.

Per VQ the Vols are looking to bring in De La Rosa for the LSU game and will be pushing for a commitment, Georgia and West Virginia are also involved. The staff is recruiting as if there will be another open spot, they are targeting either a graduate transfer big or possibly a big from overseas with that additional spot.

Do you mean in addition to Adonis De La Rosa or instead of De La Rosa if they don't sign him?

I think we are finally at a spot in the season to have a very reasonable expectation of getting that guess correct. Anything is possible but this one seems easy

Well, I hope that if somebody gets run they aren't keeping their end of the deal. If they're going to class, staying out of trouble, and doing what they're supposed to do basketball practice-wise then running them off is bush league.

Call it what you want but it happens at just about every major program

Not gonna throw the name out there just yet, but the guy they're looking at overseas is a projected 2017 lottery pick, if the Vols could somehow land this guy it would be quite the game changer.

Isaiah Hartenstein, Jonathan Jeanne, Ivica Zubac, Nik Slavica, Petre Cornelie, Marko Arapovic? Any of these guys?

Might be Isaiah Hartenstein from Germany. I think he's living in Oregon right now. He's a 6'11 230 SF/PF.

I apologize, I guess I should've said nothing at all, I get the frustration. This staff likes to keep some of their recruitments quiet for whatever reasons, other outlets aren't reporting this players name so I felt like I shouldn't either, you can take that how you want and bash me if you see fit. Again, I thought I would mention it as it brings something to hold hope for for next years squad, but I do get the frustration from posters as well.

Let's hope we get the guy and learn who it is soon. We could use a big overseas player on the team.
