Recruiting Discussion

No one, other than Owens, has mentioned leaving, as of yet. It would be easy for Bonds to walk away because he's a walk-on. If he were leaving I think he'd be gone. He knows we need a PG even if he has to be a back up.

I think he stays and I believe he will be a good contributor.

Is there anyone you don't believe will be a major contributor? Honest question.

Auntee Dee stated, "good" contributor as related to Bonds. I can live with that based on his potential. As far as "major" contributors, that remains to be seen.

Walk on's rarely are good contributors when discussing actually in game, that's just the truth.

Was he? I must've missed that.

Edit: you're right, he was in a picture Moyer posted 4 days ago.

Then again it is possible that Baulkman may not play his final season because of the shoulder injury.
From what I've read about it it was very severe. Even popping out of socket and when he did play he was in agony.

It was reported that he would have surgery on his shoulder. Don't know when, though.

This is a good point, or maybe he has elected not to have the surgery knowing it'll cut into his season and is gonna just try and play through, or be like pops and just finish school and get his degree?

Did Pops finish on his own dime? Noticed one source shows he was released day before signing period started or Apr 14th.

Baulkman is not the kind of player that wants to just finish school and get his degree. He wants to play ball. I'm pretty sure he will have the surgery.

If his injury is something he can't play through and doesn't wanna undergo surgery then who knows

He's still in school and it's close to finals. It was already discussed among the previous staff that he go immediately after the semester.

Thanks for the info. Hubbs had his during the school year, many guys do, not uncommon at all, must be a minor deal with short recovery or they would've had him go already.
