Bonds was a very low composite 2 star. J Rich was a top 150 three star. Huge difference in ranking. Doesn't mean he can't contribute though.

Yeah I really wish he would've been eligible to play this season. Just imagine what we could have done if McKnight would've been cleared, and Bonds would've been cleared. Wouldn't have had to start Carmichael, and Richardson could've played off the ball which is where he probably could've had more open looks at 3pnt range. We would've had a starting lineup like this:
PG: Bonds
SG: Richardson
SG: Punter
F: Moore
F: McKnight

Bench:
1. Hubbs
2. Reese
3. Mostella
4. Baulkman
5. Carmichael
6. Owens
7. McGhee(injured)
8. Chiles(injured)

That could've made a huge difference.

Yeah Richardson was quite a bit higher, but on 247 they gave Bonds a grade of 81 which is a low 3 star. Composite score of 80.8, so he was right at a 3 star according to 247. I personally think Bonds will be good here.

So where are we at with recruting? Which players are most likely to sign? And when is the deadline for signing?

And is Bonds gonna be on scholly next year? He's our only PG and he gave up a scholarship to come sit out

Didn't write him off at all just told where he is at now. He can improve his shooting. He has the rest of the skills to play basketball. Right now his shooting is suspect doesn't mean he can't get better.

I agree, if he can come in and facilitate the ball and play good defense we will be good to go. He doesn't have to be a big time scorer. He can be a floor general.

How many spots will we even have open after this season? How many players can we sign? With all the turnover from last season, plus injuries, etc., I forgot who all is actually on scholarship.

We have 2 spots left . Some have said we're gonna take 3 . Not sure how we do that though
