....
Huh? That games at Bristol, not Knoxville?
I understand that. Was thinking of the atmosphere of having recruits experience a UT game of this historical magnitude. Yes they would be seeing the campus but taking some Bball & Football recruits to Bristol for this game would in itself be an experience a recruit would not forget. Just a thought. Perhaps recruiting has to be relegated to that schools campus only, not sure.
You can't "give." Tickets to a game on an unoffical visit to recruits. It's just like giving money.

That purchased their own tickets. Isaiah Sfokes can attend that battle at Bristol just the same as you and I can, but he can't receive any other sort of benefits like he could if the game was at Neyland Stadium.
It was Posted on this site that comped tickets were issued to recruits in Nashville last year. I didn't believe it to be legal either but that's what was posted on this site last year at this time. Iirc hubbs reported it was legal
I know high school coaches from Georgia who bring some of their players up for unofficial visits and they never have to pay for tickets. Every school in D1 does it. It is legal. However, it is only tickets, no meals, rooms, transportation, parents; just tickets.
Per VQ Polley and Stokes will OV for the Ohio game and Uyaelunmo the next week for Florida...Stokes is also likely to visit Florida, Iowa State and North Carolina. Polley has visits scheduled for Pitt and UCONN while Uyaelunmo has visits set to Vandy, Florida and USC.
What else could it be? Rick Barnes has done more interviews in the past 7 days in Knoxville than the entire off-season trying push season ticket sales.
Rick Barnes isn't fooling me and he shouldn't fool you. He doesn't get a vote in this. He needs to worry about virtually his entire list of top targets being reclassified as 3 star players by 24/7 recently. Then again, maybe now we'll have a shot at landing a few of them.
