New feature available on 247 that allows you to predict a teams recruiting class and see how it would rate out. Swap out prospects and/or add additional ones, or generate any scenario you want. Could be interesting to see some results of the different options still on the table.

Tennessee Class Calculator

@Niebuhr247: AWESOME new @247Sports feature: Recruiting Class Calculator ... Pick a team & give it a try

Currently we are sitting at 266.64 points with 31 commits. By adding Malone, Mosley, Owen Williams, Darrel Williams and Jakob Johnson and removing possible GS candidates Dews and Paulk it would bring us to 274.48 with 34 commits.

Adding Adoree, Garrett, Sharpe and Malone and removing only Dews as a GS would bring us to 292.59 with 34 commits.

The red team is currently at 296.9, so we can pretty much rule out the top spot on 247 FWIW.

No kidding. I added Adoree, Malone, Mosely and David Sharpe just for ****s and giggles, and we were still behind Bama's current class.

Just imagine what OUR class would look like if we were 10-0 and coming off back to back titles.

I added Cam Robinson, Da'shawn Hand, Adoree, Sharpe, Elam, Garrett, Johnson, and Malone, and dropped off Dews and Paulk (GS), and we were ahead of the red team then.

What I don't understand is these 4

Jalen Hurd
Josh Malone
Todd KellyS
Dillon Bates

are ranked higher than David Sharpe or Matt Elam but aren't in the top 10, while both Sharpe and Elam are considered top 10 recruits.

Bama's ranking is naturally skewed. Case in point...Elam. He wasn't given the time of day by the services...until Bama got in the mix. Suddenly, as if by osmosis, he'd the best damn DT in the country. Go figure? :loco: Now look at Orlando Brown, for us. Still a 3*...although he's playing like a 5*...is built like a 5* and most importantly has a 5* offer list.

It's just ridiculous.

No matter where this class finishes I will still like our class better than anyone elses. Especially for the tight bond that has developed between all of them. Being a cohesive unit that will push one another to be better everyday will make this class the difference in being a champion. This class is the start of something special. They will take each future class under their wing and things will really turn around quick!

I still think Saban bolts after the year win or lose and I think Bama takes a hit in recruiting. Not saying Tn ends up #1 or anything but I think Tn ends up the highest SEC team ranked in recruiting. Unless we start having current commits going elsewhere. jmo
