Well! I’ve been to see Whitehaven three times, and have watched all three players wreak havoc all over the field. They play hard. That’s some great talent right there.

I read an article about the spread on UT vs UAB. The article was about the difference in the different services unusual wide spreads, that it was noticeable nationwide. A few services had UAB as the favorite one by 10+ where most of the services had UT as, close to 2 TD favorite with a few just+2. Then the writer ask how does this happen?
You lose to GSU and you will have naysayers for quite a while.
So we are not out of the woods yet with the low info sports fans.
Win out is a must.

He’ll im sure Pruitt and staff wish it were a little better. But we have a couple of really good TN kids that are very close to committing. That should get us up around 15-17. If we can dismiss the season strong and pick up a few good recruits late we can easily get in that 10-12 range. And I think we’d have to view that a success. We lost to ga state to start the year for crying out loud. If we show a bunch of on the field improvement the latter part of this season and into next...we could get inside the top 10 next year. Which is good enough

Those Whitehaven three trio is working on the other ones from Memphis to join Tennessee already. It’s the ones that have offers here. I can tell you right now, that it is going pretty good!

We beat USC and everyone believes Pruitt is the next Saban.

If we lose another game this year everyone will be wanting to fire Pruitt.

Recruiting is above average on a national scale, but below average in the SEC.

We have 9 spots left to fill. 4-6 will be four star players. Mostly in-state DLinemen. We have an outside possibility with 2 to 3 5 stars in Washington, Sewell, and Jarrett. Yes I realize that is a stretch. We will definitely and more 4 or 5 stars than 3 to close out this class, which will make it the second year in a row that's happened since Kiffin. Recruiting is fine. We just need to keep winning.

You know, you're right. I would much rather see a Butch Jones recruited team on the field making no progress at all than see three-star recruits turning the corner and turning into a good team.

Half the stars bitch recruited left the team on never reached their potential. Wisconsin is doing it year in and year out without big names Nebraska in their glory days of the 90 didn’t have stars everywhere just tough kids that wanted to play ball

If I am not mistaken, there was a lot of hand wringing and disbelief in Pruitt's recruiting abilities this time last year. Trust the process, these are professionals who are well versed on how to get the athlete's they want here. If the players don't want to be here, I am going to cheer for those who do. GBO

What do you expect? Have one of the worst seasons in our history, open up with a loss to Ga St. And pull a top 5 class? I consider it a small miracle to even be where we're at. These HS kids weren't even alive the last time we were good. Top 20 is great for now, top 15 is a real possibility and that would be amazing given the circumstances.

We have a whole forum dedicated to recruiting, and a host of other topics. It's all laid out in that forum as to how we'll finish based on who commits and signs. IMO we aren't in bad shape and should finish no lower than 12th nationally. Bear in mind the season isn't over yet and UT needs to continue the good play.
