I think Tenn will have a better record in 2009 than in 2010. Our schedule in 2010 is BRUTAL:

Oregon, Florida, @LSU, @UGA, Ole Miss, @S.C.

I think Tenn's record in 2009 will be between 8-4 and 10-2, and I think Tenn's record in 2010 could be at best 9-3, and at worst 7-5. I REALLY don't see this team losing 5 games next year though...too many home games, and too much excitement around the program...the players will be pumped.

With that being said, I think 2011 should be the first year we start to judge Kiffin. It will give him a chance to develop his recruits and he'll start developing those 2 year relationships with incoming recruits.

ummmm...if Kiffin goes 10-2 next season ...I will judge him right there on the spot : miracle worker ...and will write the Pope and formely nominate Lane for Sainthood . It is not that I do not see 10-2 possible ...it is just a sharp contrast to 5-7 .

I agree that 2010 could be a tough year given the schedule .

I was there. One of the most heartbreaking losses I've been at.... Letting them have the ball for the last 7 minutes of the game. God that was depressing.

So was I. That pass that JaMarcus threw was not even intended to Ducet or whoever caught that pass in the back of the endzone

10-2 next year is VERY possible since we're playing so many home games, and the schedule is not that difficult...

WKU, UCLA, @UF, Ohio, Auburn, UGA, @Bama, USC, Memphis, @Ole Miss, Vandy, @UK

The only games that look like sure losses are @UF and @Bama. All the other games are VERY winnable. 10-2 is NOT out of reach, especially with the desperation and energy this team has right now.

ehhh. It is also improbable

I'm just saying 10-2 is a best case scenario. Most likely they are 8-4 or 9-3. I think Fulmer could win 8 games next year with this schedule.

Plus, that great recruiting class we had 2 years ago will be in their Jr. season, and I bet we'll see lots of playmakers that Fulmer refused to play, because he's stupid and "loyal to his upperclassmen."

We're gonna tank in 2010 IMO. Lose 4 starting offensive linemen, without much quality behind them, and gonna have a lot of freshman on the line. Not good. Probably starting a freshman QB. On D we're probably gonna lose Berry, no Dan Williams, Rico McCoy, ..etc

May have to snag a Juco OL or two if possible. The defensive side of the field will not have the cupboard nearly as bare after some of the recruits from this year...esp at DB and LB.

That LSU team proved that amazing talent can overcome sub par coaching. I don't think that CLM is the worst coach in the league but I wouldn't put him in my top 6 of the SEC. He owes Saban a thank you note for that team.

I think The Bama and Georgia games are winable ...with both teams breaking in new QB's and both having graduated major aspects of their offensive lines.

I really feel like the vols can play with any team on their schedule ...even Florida ...if they can garner minimal offensive output . I have said this in numerous posts . Their defense last season held Florida and Bama until that defense became exhausted from being on the field for an inordinate amount of time. Offensive turnovers caused the Vols alot of trouble . That being said , the defense remains dominant and maybe even improves ...the offense becomes productive even to a minimal level ...this is a team that will compete with anyone . Compete , not necessarilly beat . Now if Lane and Chaney work some offensive majic and turn this team into an above average offensive team , maybe based on ball control running and serviceable QB play ...coupled with an exceptional defense ...they could very well be a top shelf team . Alot of ifs and maybe's I know ...but I don't think any of it is far fetched.

Yeah. At Bama with crushed confidence by that time of the season

:eek:lol:Ok

And i think home field advantage is overrated most of the time. If it mattered so much we would almost never lose at Neyland so it being a road game doesnt make me think we will automatically lose
