College Football live just showed the clip VolzRChamps put up earlier, then showed the Rock painted to say Fire Phil and then had Fulmer's "we didn't turn stupid overnight" interview.

Rece Davis reminded everyone we played in the SEC Championship game last year after a slow start and said we "should simmer down on Rocky Top". Also mentioned that Fulmer prefers to be called Phillip, not Phil, so we should at least fix the Rock.

I guess it doesn't matter that Cal, UF (twice) and Bama have annihilated us in just over a one year span and we got beat by UCLA.

I love the lets take the high road approach by the talking heads. They're all laughing under their breath.

If I were a supporter of any other SEC team, I would shout the exact same message that Davis is shouting from the highest mountaintops.

I've had about enough of national commentators telling Tennessee fans how we should handle Tennessee business.

they have to assume that, since we still have CPF, that we have no clue how to handle our business.

Eh, we have a federal government that wants to micromanage down to the level of local school districts.

The difference between them and ESPN is that ESPN can just bitch about a situation.

I think alot of media people got burned last year when Fulmer was actually on the brink but managed to survive. Just look at how sedate the KNS has been with the editorials, and this is less than 12 months removed from the sports editor calling for Phil's resignation. I think there are two things at work here. First, the local media is worried about losing access to the program. Second, nobody wants egg on thier face if Fulmer pulls it out.

One writer will tell us how we haven't won anything in the last ten years. The next tells us not to overreact to "current" circumstances. I, like Hat, am tired of someone else telling Vol fans how and what they should think. Our trophy case is gathering dust.

Once Lou Holtz became a memeber of their crew, ESPN lost all credibility as far as I am concerned. I have to turn on the words at the bottom of the screen just to understand him and half the time that does not work.

Until now I've always spoke against the ESPN conspiracy, but this is rock solid proof that they really do hate the University of Tennessee.

Also, Rece Davis needs to cram it. He is a sorry excuse for a sports journalist anyway.
