So far this year we were shy of a few wins by costly misroutes by recievers, drops at critical points in the game by recievers, awful throwing by an overated quarterback, poor decisions by the overated quarterback, fumbles, and lets not even start with the worst defense that UT has ever fielded. I mean, your on defense, you should know how to at least freaking tackle. But besides that what is it , that is exactly Dooleys fault ?

Yeah, you know, you're right. A good coach couldn't solve any of those things......oh wait.....nvm....he could.

You don't coach a kid to do what he can't do. You coach his strengths.

He's injured and does not have time to devote 100%, and the injury is due to his own carelessness.

He is a damn idiot and he has compiled a staff of damn fools. They shouldn't even be considered for even a water boy position. Them damn jokers couldnt even cut the grass at Tennessee

They secondary is sorry as hell and they couldnt intercept a pass if you tossed it right to them underhanded. Them vols will be last in the country in turnovers again.

Recruiting ranked 9th in SEC right now, he usually finish 6 or 7th in the conference. It's a long shot for even a good coach to win in the SEC with average recruiting class ever year.

Will post again. Text from uk friend

So UT & Vandy are the only schools to start 0-5 in SEC play three years in a row. Congrats on reaching a level of suckiness that even UK has yet to achieve.

The type of coordinators he hires just don't cut it in the SEC. The ones he keep after Kiffin left are not the type to cut it either. Dooley just don't seem to have a nose for this type of thing.

I mean to be fair, we aren't on their level. "first 5" is an arbitrary statistic

0 for October 3 years in a row. Only Tennessee and Vanderbilt have ever accomplished that.

0-15 against ranked teams

Last year's loss to Kentucky. His team could not beat a team with a WR playing QB.

He decided to switch to a 3-4 defense in
a year in which he knew he must win.

He hired Sal Sunseri to be defensive coordinator. He then admitted in his SC post game interview that he spends zero time in the defensive meeting rooms.

He is the HEAD COACH. The buck stops with him.

99.999% of fans and posters only care about w-l for a team that was expected to go 7-5 or 8-4, which they're on track to do. Add on top of that a fanbase that doesn't have the slightest clue of the reality of our 2008 induced situation or enough football knowledge to see that there has been vast improvement in many places this year. They want Dooley to fail and prove they were right more than they want UT to win. UT is a 9-3 team in 2013 even with that schedule. This time next year we'll be happy we took a 7-5 or 8-4 expectation, did that, installed a new D and got those growing pains over with.

His record seems to sum up everything that he does wrong right down to no in game adjustments. One winning season in 6 years of head coaching! Zero Top 25 wins ever and most of those have been blowouts!

I think I speak for the vast majority of vol fans when I say this....he sucks

I sure hope you don't, I've seen more intellegent and rational post from the "vast majority of Vol fans" than your, and i'll be nice, less intellegent post.

It aint the new defense man. TN is on pace to break ever record there is for points given up. Football just ain't Dooley's sport . He's just not cut out for this.

I like it when the Doolaids say that we need stability in the program. We have stability, 0-5 for 3 years in the row in the SEC.

I think Dooley is a good man, just not a football coach. Worst hire in SEC history.
