Just to counter the thread about reasons to be optimistic, what are some reasons to be negative about the 2017 season?

There are so many unknowns going in to this season. Qb? Coaching changes? Strength and conditioning? Can we get healthy? I wouldn't say that I am negative about the upcoming season, but I think our win total is hard to predict based on our unknowns at this point. Last season we were looking at like 9 wins plus or minus 1 but this year is more like 8 wins plus or minus 2. I still think we win at least 8 this year and hope for more. Just my opinion

Brand new quarterback is what concerns me the most. We could be okay, we could be really really bad. We'll see.

You make a living trying to pound me for being negative, and yet here you are as the first reply to a thread titled "Reasons to be negative about the 2017 season". Brilliant.

You never know what Tennessee team you are going to get from game to game, half to half, hell, quarter to quarter.

There isn't anyone that can look at the good, the bad, and the ugly from last season and have it make sense.

And don't try with "injuries". Giving up 600+ yards to Kentucky and Missouri at home is damn near impossible.

Yea burning reshirts on guys that are 230 that play on the line because you have to had nothing to do with it.

Appreciate your input but you'll have just as much if not more growing pains than us this year IMO.

So is losing to Georgia Southern at home but it happens sometimes I guess.

That made sense as sad as that is. That Florida team was consistently terrible.

Last season, Tennessee was consistently inconsistent.

You can agree or disagree with that, but that's not a dig.

Just some friendly banter, that's all.

We better be better 'cause everyone else in East will be badder. Past two years we weren't badder when we we better. (Git er done).
