I know this is old news, but w/Pearl's raging technical last night showing his obviously short fuse, AND the vols dropping three straight because Duke and Wayne have DISAPPEARED, it begs the question...Why was Major Wingate dismissed?

He must have done something REALLY BAD to be a Senior and get kicked off the team (it's almost unheard of) What was it? Could it have been changed to something a little less harsh, like a 10-game suspension? I think Pearl is a super coach, and I like his fire, but last night his technical showed that his ego could cause problems for UT in the future.

We probably would have three more wins right now and be in the top 10 if Major was on the team.

Actually he missed one drug test, which coounts as a miss and failed another, which was two strikes and you are out.

I don't condone it, although we will mis him especially against the Gators. It's just funny how you can have a high blood alcohol level every day and get smashed yet smoke a little weed once a month and your doomed.I don't smoke just don't understand the thought process behind it.

IMO Pearl does not have a short fuse. That last time out call was horse @@@@. It should have been a turnover (traveling) or a jump ball with possession going to UT. Earlier in the game they called Tabb for traveling on the same type deal.

Also the Vols got Jobbed at Ohio State when OSU stepped out of bounds with 2 sec. to go. Also with the three ball that Ohio scored on before the half. The shotters damn foot was on the line.

BS calls from piss poor officials.\

Still the Vols gave up a 14 point lead.
