Really not as upset as some (many?)

Unfortunately we have a fan base full of idiots already clamoring for yet another coaching change 2 games in.

Don’t dispair.

1. They’re probably still drunk.

2. You can always spot the jack@$$e$ by the loud braying noises when nobody’s listening.

Good game, played from start to finish, there were some issues, but ultimately we played tough.

Unprecedented number of departures in the off season, numerous injuries before and during the game, and a Pitt team that will likely win 8-10 this year.

Not sure how we are already talking about a coach 2 games in being fired and benching our QBs for our 3rd string guy. The improvement I saw from week 1 to week 2 was huge as it should be. Let’s cut out some penalties and keep chugging along.

Nobody (reasonable) expected more than 6 wins this year. We have a great shot at doing that.
I am upset when Tennessee loses any ball game, but I M more upset when they essentially give a game away with turn overs and are charged with 13 penalties costing us 134 yards. Some of that concern is eased with the blocked punt for a TD on the first series.. I was most upset after overtgrowing wide open receiver# four times early in the game. I know it was a tough day and Pitt exposed some problems which can be corrected. I still think we will get better as the year progresses.

Bottom line if Milton cannot hit open receivers better than that he is the 3rd string guy. Good grief I don't know if I have ever seen so many wide open misses in a quarter. It don't matter if you can throw it a 100 yards if you can't come close to your target. If it's a pass that requires putting air under it Milton has not shown he can do it good enough, then he will get schemed. Hooker clearly played better than Milton and Hooker and Bailey deserve major snaps against Tech. Our receievers are getting open, if your QB can't make the throws take him out. It's that simple. GBO!!!!

For the love of humanity why line up in shotgun with a half a yard to go. Not having Evans hurt us also, he is our best back. Jaylen is going to be good, and I expect him to get better as we go. Smalls going out killed us, we have to start recruiting big strong backs. GBO!!!!!!

As short as my patience is now with the constant losing I do support Heupel getting three seasons maybe four to get the job done. I’d just be happy with back to back 7-5 seasons or 8-4 at this point but that 4th down call was horrible yesterday it was just like the one Butch called in 2017 against Florida.
