I hope it's rowdy in the stadium as well but to counter the OP the feeling is mutual from the other point of view. I stand up to cheer but hate people who repeatedly lecture an entire section on standing and cheering. I can 100% guarantee you that those ppl are more annoyed at people like you more than you're annoyed by them. If someone doesn't want to stand and cheer let them be

My biggest concern is that we come out flat and people start booing. I get why people boo and that they are just so fed up with it all (going to game costs a lot of money anymore) but it doesn't help the team one bit when the fans start trashing them.

Why don't you take off your shirt and start spinning it around. They still won't yell for the team, but they will be yelling at you to put your shirt back on which at least gives us a little more sound.
