Really Good Donnie Tyndall post game show

Tennessee is now sitting 2nd in the SEC standings with a better overall record and the same SEC record as Florida.
They also have a 54 RPI compared to Florida's 70!

Sometimes, you have to get your tail handed to you in a certain way in order for dividends to come later.

We lost to Bama in large part because we settled for jump shots for most of the second half and did not drive the ball as a part of our offense. In the Arkansas and Missouri games, we have shown a stronger commitment to driving the ball as a part of our half-court offense.

You have to believe that Tyndall has been driving that point home over the past week.

"Latest article says, "But long-term, it's also almost certainly about an NCAA report into Tyndall's past at Southern Miss that could arrive later this week(1 week ago). The feeling from most insiders is that Tyndall's harshest punishment might be a five-game suspension, which might wreck this season but would allow his difficult rebuilding job to move forward with little damage."

Both articles were from the Chattanooga Times Free Press which were linkable at the time but now under the subscribe ban.
Still nothing has arrived, pure conjecture anything will arrive IMO.

Love this from the interview, "You guys think about it now, he's 6'4", 210 lbs, playing every minute tonight at the 4, and he gets a double-double in the SEC. That has nothing to do with anything but guts and toughness and being resilient." Bob Kesling, "Let's just talk about his utility and how you coach him up. Coming into the game he was 1 of 14 from 3. At the start of the 2nd half he comes right out and takes one and misses it but he didn't bat an eye. Next time he's open, he takes one and makes it." Donnie, "Well, you know, I told him before the game I'm gonna run something for you to shoot a 3. Now quit acting like you can't make it, jump up, and stick it in the rim. And he missed the first one and I said I'm coming right back to you and it's money. I told the whole bench that. And when he makes the 2nd one, Detrick Mostella stood up and high fived me and said, "I hear you, coach, I hear you!" "If there's anyone who could appreciate someone getting a 3 pointer up, it's Detrick, you know!"

Wow!...players gotta love that from a coach! Bet recruits end up hearing these stories.

You can tell by his post game shows he knows the players capabilities inside and out down to the smallest detail. This guy eats, drinks and sleeps basketball! How does he get a trophy wife!

This may be a stupid question but, it Tyndall is suspended for five games do we have a interim coach or do the assistants take over??
