Pretty much but the injuries still were major factors. And in the SC game you've got your 5 star prima dona refusing to go in. That's demoralizing as hell on any level but especially to a bunch of college aged players. Candy played 10 miles over their heads against reserves and out of position inexperience players. No excuses but there are reasons.Injuries affected the TAM game. Maybe the competitive nature of the Bama game (not the outcome).
Injuries should not have affected the SCAR game or the Vandy game. We should have had enough depth to beat those two with second and third string. Especially SCAR with a week off and we actually got guys back that week.
Sorry, those 2 losses were inexcusable.
Injuries were without question the major killer for team 120. It sucked but it happened.
Tell me how you would feel about our chances playing a team in the following scenario.
Players out for their team.
3 starting Dlinemen
2 starting LB and team Capt.
Best DB and Team Capt
Makeshift Oline
Best Punt returner
Best Kickoff returner in nation.
How would you like our chances of beating a team with these losses?
Ok. "A team". Very specific....whatever.
Just as solid as you changing the meaning of the question and then implying something totally different to meet your specific agenda.
"A" team as in no particular team. No team specifically just whomever we're facing.
Not a difficult concept to those who have a working knowledge of the English language.
Now I know how you like to look for hidden meanings in Jones pressers (which aren't there) but this was a very straight forward question.
