Realistic Predictions for Season

Now I know some of us can be biased at times but I'd like to know what everybodys realistic predictions are.

I say 6-6. Possibly 5-7.

Discuss.

i've thought 7 wins for a long time now.

currently i'm thinking 8. must be overly emotional these days.

there is about as much chance of going 0-12 as 12-0, 11-1 or 1-11, etc.

Oh knock it off. This team was literally three plays from being 8-4 last year despite how bad the offense was. Fumble at goal line against UCLA, fumble in end zone at Auburn, either interception against Wyoming. Now i understand that all these plays happened, but they were all just right there. Bring in totally new energy and a better offense (can't be worse) and you think this team will suck horribly again? Now the season has yet to be played, but anything less than 8 wins will be an absolute failure this year.

8-4 would actually be ok with me this year. I could understand 7 but don't see any fewer

8-4 seems pretty realistic to me.

I will say 7 as well but you never know...If we can at least hang around in the big games we stand a chance at beating a couple of them which I will take as icing on the cake

I see us beating UF, Bama, or UGA. (My guess is Georgia)

Im not really sold on Ole Miss, so until then I think we will win.

UCLA will be a breeze, unless Lincoln has to kick, same with Auburn.

I can honestly say I could see us going 10-2 or 9-3. We have all the tools, and the players, an easier system to run and a Quarterback that has Bryce Brown to hand it off to.

We lost to wyoming. There's no excuse for that.

This is why I titled the thread "realistic expectations"

I agree with this. if we have good o-line play, then we could surprise some people.

I think 8 is realistic, and 9 would not really shock me. I'm not drinking the Ole Miss kool-aid just yet. I can see them cracking under the pressure. As bad as I hate to admit it, UGA might surprise a few people this year. Last year they were over rated and this year some might actually be over looking them. If Cox turns out to be a pretty good QB and King or another RB can pick up the slack for Moreno, they might be pretty solid. I can also say the same for us. If our QB and OL play is good this year, we might surprise some people too.

6-6 worst. 8-4 best. 7-5 most likely. beating/losing to USCjr will determine if we win 8 games or 7 games, IMO. Losing to Auburn determines if we go 6-6.

no matter what, we make a bowl, IMO.

there is a slight, slight, slight possibility we beat UGA. i think if we are 4-1 and they are 3-2 we can catch them off gaurd. we will need to be healthy, have our WRs back, and "work like heck" hahaha. but really, we will have to. who cares if UGA has "question marks?" theyre still going to win 8 or 9 games. they are not bad, will not be bad, and will be very difficult for us to beat. with that said, we could pull one off on them. 9-3 is possible, however unlikely, IMO.
