I think you are asking the wrong question.

The question should be, " with our defense so banged up, why is this staff not letting loose of the conservative play calling and throwing more early in games? "

Our defense is not good enough for our offense to just pound the rock and use play action pass only. Defenses know Butch is conservative and they are prepared to stop the run and play action pass.

Come out and unleash the pass game ( non play action )! Make defenses defend the whole play book!!!!

I'm fine with conservative football, if my team has great defense. WE DON'T. Open up the playbook and help this injured defense out!!!!

Also, the manning camp and Cali trips were off-season. That's like going to summer school to study a test that will be taken during a regular term. You might go back to bad habits.

Don't know much about Sheridan, but I think we need a more proven hands on guy every week.

I don't have much opinion. I think Jones has a lot of confidence in Sheridan. Figured out a way to keep for third year. That doesn't mean it was right decision but he is in charge so he has to live with it
