I just graduated today. I'm going to really miss school. It was a blast. I'd love to hear your after college stories.

Congrats man! I got lucky and got a job before I graduated. Good luck if you haven't been that lucky. My after college story? Mortgages suck. The end.

Awesome! It's always great when you have a job and everyone else is freaking out b/c they haven't heard back from anyone. Word of advice, if you can afford rent, chances are you can afford a house. I didn't think so until I moved from Savannah to Atlanta. I pay $50 more for my house than I did for an apt. in Savannah.

Hell after not buying anything the last 5 years, I'm already thinking of stuff to buy with my pay checks.

I've been one since may....the only difference is you can't get out of responsibilities by pretending you have an exam coming up anymore.

Sure you can. You have a big project you are working on. You have a presentation you are preparing for. You have a deadline coming up that you have to meet.

I never had that excuse in college because I never studied. LOL. None of my friends would have believed me if I told them that

it would still benefit you to still be frugal with your money. Save it for something worthwhile (like a house) rather than blowing it on short-term wants. Get any debts paid off now and setup and emergency fund in case something happens.

just some stuff I wish I had done right out of school

This. Stay away from credit cards unless emergency. It sucks at first, but pays off in the long run.

Best of luck and never get complacent.
