Some are saying if you're a real fan you will stay positive no matter what and back the coaches and those in charge...BS. As fans we do not need to settle for crap. Should we be complacent with the product Dooley is puting on the field? I feel like we have every right to question Dooley as a coach and call for his job. As Tennessee fans it's our job to keep a high standard of expectations.

You should make a sign and protest in the middle of the highway so everyone sees you.

and that sign should say Real Jerks.............
Vol fans have every right to be upset about the state of affairs this season and to demand improvement, dramatic improvement to the quality of the product on the field.
But to act like its as simple as starting over and bringing Superman in as coach and throwing 6 million a year at him is just plain ignorant. To expect much more given what was in the cupboard two years ago was setting this coach up to fail which I suspect was where most of these jackwipes were from the beginning.

he has showed no signs whatsoever of being a good coach! or that he can coach at all. this is not the guy to bring us back. he's not going to make it here, it's better to move on sooner than later.

Right back to the days of the Fulmeristas only the Dooley nuts are twice as delusional because they can't point to any past success as a basis for expecting improvement.

He has a losing record as a head coach...out of 5 seasons as a head coach 4 have been losing seasons. What is your basis of expecting improvement? Hire a loser and that's the product you see on the field.

If he was set up to fail, then that's the only thing he's succeeded at since winning the lottery by getting the job in the first place.

Do we need another thread on this? Why not just respond to the specific offending post instead of setting up a straw man and then tearing it down?

Anybody else tired of losing?

I think everyone is but it's also life. Sometimes in life you can't just hit the reset button. You have to work through things and it makes success that much sweeter. We will get there. Fire the HC after two years and the mess he walked into is ludicrous.

So many people get off to being able to create a Volnation thread bashing the coaching staff.

So many future athletic directors on here.. I don't see how any university could go wrong.

Actually if you disagree, protest, show displeasure, etc, then by definition

You are a Hooligan

Likewise, displeasure toward a particular incident, player, or team may be met by fans with booing, shouting of expletives, and sometimes throwing of objects onto the field. This violent type of fan reaction is often called hooliganism.

I love Tennessee with a passion. History shows that he is not a winner. Look at history at all of the winning coaches. Saban, Miles, Bowden, Fulmer, Meyer, and Patrino. I could name more. Dooley is not a winning coach. Get rid of him. We didnt want to spend the money on the buy out for the assistant coaches Kiffen left behind. That is the only reason Dooley got this job. He was willing to retain the coaches. A winner would want his own coaches unless he really believe they were the right coach. AHHHHH.....
