WRs arent helping either.

Normally I would say heck np, but if the coaches are ELIMINATING his running threat then why not?

Yep, if he's not running he's a liability.

This damn offense doesn't work without a QB and runs AND passes well. We haven't had that guy yet.

Pretty funny how half of the posters here cussed him for not starting Dobbs over Worley last year.

Dubbs sucks... He can't make the throws... We have seen enough to to know... He simply is bad

I'll put this one on the players. Dropped passes, fumbles and many missed tackles. FL and OK are unexcept able though.

Yes, Butch is bad. But guess who is worse?

Joshua Dobbs.

Kid can't hit the broadside of a barn.

Time to see what Dormady can do next week against UGA and try to save this cluster***** of a season before the big decision to keep Butch or not this offseason.

For now? This should be Dormady's team moving forward.

The thing is, he obviously can't distinguish who is the better player. Dobbs was better than Worley. Dormady cannot be any worse than Dobbs.

Doesn't matter, coaching staff has no ability to see what is working (to continue to do it) or make any type of adjustment to adjustments the other team makes.

What did Hurd do in the 1st Half? How many touches did he get in the 2nd Half? Poor coaching!

Dobbs went 20-36 for 232 yds, & he had a lot of drops. Dormady is hoping that they don't put him in with the performance of the line & receivers. He is going to get beat up & look like Peterman. Our defense got ran over tonight. We have to do a better job of tackling & put more pressure on the Qb. Dobbs ran 7 times for 7yds & that is a no no. He could have done a lot of damage with those legs. We really need Pig Howard back, he is our best receiver & is fearless.

just another example of how this staff can take good players and make them look like they have never seen a football before....does anyone on the staff know how to coach the basics of defense...IE...position responsibilities, tackling and pursuit angles...??...getting laughable...

Those stats can't be right. Everyone else In here says he's the worst "thrower" in TN history.

I don't know that I would start him but I would go situational with him. He is a better passer. Mix it up with him and Dobbs and let Dobbs use his legs more.

I think youre trying to be passive-agressive in a passive-agressive way. The question should be "how many completions beyond 8 yards?". I remember 1-2, which has been the norm. Did you notice the stat at the end of the game that was posted! Dobbs just isnt cutting it.

We have over 250 yards of offense. Offense is working.

Maybe I'm alone on this, but I don't like the fact that people say we ran an "aggressive" offense tonight... Where it seemed like 50% of the passes were to Hurd/Kamara by design.

I say start Dormady after the Bama game.

Also, for those saying Dormady isn't mobile enough... When did Dobbs try to avoid any sort of pressure tonight? Instead of avoiding any sort of pressure, he just made ill-advised, quick throws.

I sit in the end zone and I have a great view of the field. Dobbs passes are off the mark. Look the ball is low or behind receivers more times than not. The are not many yarda after the catch to prove that. (outside of swing passes to running backs...) Oh yeah and Dobbs missed a read to a wide open #7 P. Williams instead threw a horrible ball to Hurd that was incomplete. Sorry but he has regressed throwing the ball. He is not the same thrower as even the last orange and white game when I him throw all the passes consistently. Something is different and not in a good way.

I just really can't stand the play calling. The staff doesn't appear able to view the game and make calls from that. We had way too much success tonight running the ball to abandon it and try be a passing team. I appreciate the effort, but it was too little too late, as far as trying to make us believe we were a passing team.

I believe due to the criticism this week CBJ decided to try and make Dobbs a pocket passer, while many here complained that he did not do this earlier.. tonight we got it, and we seen what happened. It is obvious that as a whole, we can't be pleased. I am ticked at the outcome as well but crap man, what do ya do... it is OBVIOUS.. we just don't have it!

So to be clear. Medley missing a 28yd FG and and P.Williams fumbling are Dobbs' fault?

No...but the missed throws and wrong reads were. There were more than a few. It's beginning to resemble the offense when opposing defenses knew Rick Clausen couldn't throw past them.
