Re: USCe Trolls

UT fired their coach for that. UT was in the Outback Bowl the two years before that. Both those bowl appearances were considered disappointments. Spurrier can't even get you guys to that level.

you're 2-3 in the past 5 bowl games...and since when do fan expectations count for anything of value

Agree with you on the defensive battle. What do you think is your biggest question mark? Crompton maybe?

Garcia is the biggest question mark in this game. If Garcia can get his team in the endzone then this will be down to the wire. However, if Garcia and the offense settle for FG's then it could get ugly.

as long as you want to post facts nobody can say USC isnt getting better. While UT, UGA, UF have historically beat us every year recently that has not been the true. We are regulars at bowl games now, this wasn't true in the early 2000s. The quality of players we have now are better than ever. USC is getting better, slowly yes but they are getting there.

You have had the same record at this point in the season virtually every single year that Spurrier has been there and subsequently collapsed in the second half of the season every single year as well. You all will probably finish 7-5 or 6-6 again this year. That is not getting better slowly because there has been no improvement. Spurrier hasn't had a 9 or 10 win season, and he's no closer to having one now than he was when he started.

Tennessee's cornerbacks have played very well thus far. They have held their own with the likes of Julio Jones, AJ Green, and the UF receiving corp. Dennis Rogan has become a star in the Kiffin defense recently and was a huge part in the UGA win. SC MUST try to go deep on Tennessee. Janzen Jackson and Eric Berry make it difficult for QB's to think about stretching the field. The SC receiving corp in my opinion is the best Tennessee has seen thus far, but they will not be successful if they settle for a short passing attack. The SC o-line must hold up against the front as well or Garcia will be eating grass most of the game. Dan Williams terrorized Joe Cox and the passing game was all but over at that point.

Don't underestimate Garcia's legs, he has been extending plays all year with em. Even in the bama game, if garcia can step up through the blitz then he can make big plays, now I know he will have to move around if we play on winning. The Oline is horrid... Our Oline is like having a gay son.

Regulars at bowl games?

Within a year or two you are going to be back looking for a new coach, which will lead to a new system, etc.

And yes, UT, UGA, and UF are still beating you reguarly.

SC has beat UT 2 times since 2000, and only 4 times EVER.

SC has beaten UF one time since 1990. Yep thats turning it around

SC has beaten UGA 3 times in the last 12 years. Yep that turning it around.

I don't know anything about that, but I will take your word for it. The problem with stepping up will be Dan Williams. What about the SC rushing attack?

Savor your victories over the Vols. All 4 of them. Shall we go over the entire list of our scores vs yours? I mean yeah Bama talks smack but at least they have a winning record over the Vols. Do the cocks have a winning record over anyone??

Steve Spurrier cant even make winners out of SC. I hate to talk smack about any team and usually dont but why come on here dishing it out to a school that is on a very long list of schools that own yours.

This.

Columbia is a dump.
South Carolina football is a coaching graveyard.
...And USCe fans have all the delusion of Bammers without any of the success.

These are the mainstays for USCe.

It's getting better, Kenny Miles is the starter. Miles I would describe as a Cory Boyd/Mike Davis mix. He doesn't have awesome speed but he aint slow. He will hit the hole hard and get what he can. He is a good back out of the back field as well. Spurrier likes Mile on swing routes or little dump passes. 2 Deep we have a frosh in Jarvis Giles most of you know. He is more of a make ya miss kinda guy. He has the talent but it needs to be developed a little more.

If you watched any UT football the past few years you would know. Boyd in that 07 UT game was running wild. Great game to watch after halftime.

Nailed me. I just don't watch enough.

Could it be that you don't think enough?

I dont say much when a Bammer, Gator, etc comes on here and talks trash. Why?...they have championships, records, and a overall winning record. They may annoy me but at least they have some validity to some of their points. I just do not understand how any SC fan can say jack crap to anybody in the SEC except Vandy and Kentucky. Like a poster said earlier, they are like Bama fans without the success.

Oh, the game where Chavis did his thing and we still managed to pull out a W. No, Boyd doesn't ring a bell, nor do any of the past SC players. I may hear and remember Norwood's name in the future.

Sidney Rice, John Abraham, Sheldon Brown, Andre Goodman, Jared Cook, Ko Simpson none of these ring that empty bell of yours?

I took them up on the offer to check out their message board. I especially loved how they stole the UT fan's insult for them (USCjr) and used it against us (UTjr)! That took some serious creativity!

Only relevant gamecock that ever went to the NFL or is in the NFL currently is John Abraham. Tennessee has many times more than that that have gone to the NFL AND been relevant. End of story.
