Seeing the Vol Navy from Calhoun's is a nice atmosphere and a classy place near Neyland. I want to say they have good brews from Smokey Mountain Brewery since they are owned by the same person.

Well if you are older I would recommend The Palace (formerly Michaels). Excellent food, and a classier atmosphere. I have been there many times (even though I'm younger) and there are never any fights or anything like that. It has been a shady place in the past with bartenders serving patrons until they are too intoxicated and a history of backroom cocaine use, but if you do not partake in such things I would definately recommend it. They may have cleaned up a little since they got in some trouble.

That's got to be the stupidest name I've ever heard.

Charlie Peppers wasn't exactly the greatest name, either. The image I get when I think of Charlie Peppers is Michael Jackson in that red coat...

Or not a frat boy punk.

Or not a guy that wants to meet a woman free of STDs and below the age of 45. Maybe it was cool back in the day, but there just aren't a lot of college kids hanging out there these days.

Oh, it has been a while. I did love it in the early 90's along with Mr. Papa's.

I find it a bit rude that you'd insult me on something that you have no idea about. The Long Branch, as of my visits 3 years ago, is a hangout for old dudes who dream of being in biker gangs. It has changed since 1990-1994, sir.

Wasn't calling you anything, was stating why I liked to go there.
